We were looking for a Brazilian Alternative Artist with it's wonderful percussions guided by something extra. Something new.

We ought know this to you. We've found Rodriw Castel a Brazilian born musician releasing his debut single minutes ago. He's music seemed to be not only one of others stucked in a compressed playlist. He's highlight me in the instant in which I've listened it. And all of this because of an extraordinarily immersive beat that grounds us in meaning. A story about Ocean treasured by the eyes of a younger, but not only it, what occurred to me in the begin a song about rising and lost of love had truthful meaning hidden in it's lyrics.
I was pleasured to have a quickly call with Castel arranged by his staff. In this talk he answered me about he's secrets contained in Melting Water.

What would you think Rodriw Castel brings to Alternative Pop? What is this track main purpose? 

Oh... To answer this question... I think I would sound a bit rude, so would like you to answer what bring to Alternative Pop. I really hope is something fresh, and you could enjoy listening it. In Melting Water I proudly shown myself and some personal thoughts about relationship, addiction and even some troubles that happen in our lifes,... and... even if some of this feelings are hidden between something more illustrative - as the words "drink", "wanna me a lot" or "bad with a good guy appeal" - I still feel as if they are reached and streamed. As purpose to this track I think is bring a feeling that I've felt for a long time and see if some does feels like me.

What is your inspirations to create this track?

To write Melting Water I've obviously got inspired by Titanic. Is almost impossible when you've got water + love tragedy do not directly thought in Titanic. I love vintage romance movies, Titanic and Singing in the rain are my favorite ones.

Which is your inspirations as an artist?

I'd love to listen from almost every bit from now and then, so into my playlists are always music from the late-nineties, 50's, 60's, 80's and the fresh ones. My inspo throughout this time producing was Break of Dawn by Michael and The Gate by Björk; my beloved artists are Etta James, Beyonce, Björk, Michael and Janet Jackson.

What are your favorite tracks in movies and tv shows?

I cannot stop to listen to Call me by your name playlist. And it all started when I was reading the book while movie was still in theaters release. I known its quite sometime since them but I still often put the main song - Mystery of Love - as alarm.

How was your process to create this song and release it?

Took... I think so... between four months to write, record and produce. I started to doing it in my free School breaks. And i'm releasing it now in November. 

After finishing this interview all could say is that I am fascinated. This could and will be sound as a personal opinion but I'm letting you also have your own opinion.

His lyrics were a proudly an escape and introduce to past and future. Pulling us for a greater understand about our selfs and his own.
